Stir Fry Sauce
I have a basic stir fry sauce that I use in a lot of dishes. I'm sure it's
not authentic or anything, but it tastes great! I use leftovers as a
dipping sauce for egg rolls, wontons, anything.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider or rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chili-garlic sauce (with oil)
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
Steps:
- Mix everything. Leave the sesame seeds alone until the very end to
retain some crispiness. Thicken with 1 tsp cornstarch if desired.
- Stir fry vegetables and add this sauce.
- Make fried rice and add this sauce.
- Add to egg roll filling.
