Anand Natrajan leads the AdTech and Player teams at Warner Bros. Discovery. Previously, he led Bleacher Report, Eurosport and March Madness Live, and was a Distinguished Engineer. In addition to leading high-performing teams, Anand participates in the design and architecture of features and operations within the direct-to-consumer group working on streaming services such as HBO Max and discovery+, as well as fan engagement products such as Bleacher Report. Prior to joining WBD and Discovery, Anand led the development and design of several ad tech platforms for several years at Amobee and Videology. He led large, distributed teams and worked with enterprise customers such as ITV in the UK, Bell Media in Canada, Mediacorp in Singapore and GroupM in the UK. He also built real-time ad decisioning technologies at LucidMedia, novel textual search engine technologies at i411, and compute cloud scheduling algorithms at Avaki and Legion. Anand has a Bachelor's in Computer Technology from the University of Bombay, and a Master's and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. He has published a book, several technical papers and non-technical articles.
